In 2004 Jonathan and Beni Robinson, owners of Coombe Farm, sensitively converted their original chicken barn into The Hen House Fitness, Health and Beauty. Due to the success of The Hen House another barn was converted in 2010 to create room for additional treatment rooms, a studio space and hair salon.

The Hen House now consists of five treatment rooms, a studio space, a hair salon and a private gym. Jody Garnett started hairdressing 21 years ago, Jody started at Coppertops before flitting around the South Hams which has helped her to establish a large client base, now happy to be at the Hen House, Jody is a L'Oreal professional salon, the Inoa colour service is designed to transform your in-salon experience, odourless and 100% ammonia free, the first hair colour with ODS technology optimised scalp comfort and respect for the hair.

Young and ambitious, Leah has worked in some of the best salons in Kingsbridge but has decided to develop and grow her own business at the Hen House, offering a full range of services, including men's cut. Leah has chosen to use Wella colour as she believes this range most suits her clientele and gives the desired results, Precise Solutions (SP) care range is also brilliant for unique hair care needs.
